RESUMEN
El ganglio esfenopalatino es un ganglio de fácil acceso para los odontoestomatólogos, con importantes indicaciones terapéuticas aplicable en la práctica clínica diaria. Aparte de la descripción clásica de la técnica de inyección extraoral, otro objetivo del presente trabajo es conocer la posibilidad de inyectar el ganglio vía intraoral, que implique una mayor comodidad y menor perturbación para el paciente y sencillez de aplicación para el terapeuta. Así mismo, describir la anatomía propia del ganglio, indicaciones de inyección, material empleado, lugar, dirección y profundidad y advertencias a tener en cuenta en dicha práctica. Objetivo: describir las técnicas de inyección al ganglio esfenopalatino. Metodología: búsqueda bibliográfica mediante buscadores médicos: Pubmed, Google académico y Scribd en el colegio de Odontólogos de Guipúzcoa y libros médicos. Resultados: se han encontrado 6 libros y 22 artículos que incluyen los criterios de este estudio. Conclusiones: existen tres vías de acceso intraoral que permiten bloquear el ganglio esfenopalatino de forma simple, cómoda y no perturbadora para el paciente especialmente odontológico, aparte de las técnicas supra e infracigomática y transnasal, éstas últimas por vía extraoral.

SUMMARY
The Sphenopalatine Ganglion is an accessible ganglion for the dentist with important therapeutic indications which is applicable in the daily clinical practice. Apart from the description of the extraoral technique, the main objective of this work, is to get to know the possibility of the intraoral injection which may imply greater comfort, minor disturbance for the patient and simplicity and feasibility for the therapist. Furthermore, to describe the anatomy of the ganglion, indications, material, point of insertion, direction and depth for the infiltration, as well as warnings to take into account in such a practice. Objective: to describe the techniques of injection to the Sphenopalatine Ganglion Methodology: bibliographic search through medical search engines, pubmed and scribed from the Dental School of Guipuzcoa. Results: 6 books and 22 articles were found which meet the criteria of this study Conclusions: there are three intraoral access routes that allow the Sphenopalatine Ganglion blockage in a simple, comfortable and non-disturbing way, especially for the dental patients, apart from the supra and infracigomatic and transnasal techniques, these latter ones with an extra oral access.
